I did my best to pour my own feeling into what we, as rescuers, have to accept and understand. We can't save them all, we can't keep them all alive forever; we can only do the best we can for each one so that the time we do have with them is valuable, meaningful to them as well as us. and every bunny has something to teach, to say, a chance to touch us in a special way. and that is what Ellie did for me. That's why it is titled "Thank You, Ellie".
