Chewie is my Sr rabbit. I've had him for over 7 yrs and he was 1.5 yrs old when I got him. He is a plain black bun who was found being carried in the mouth of a dog in the desert! Rescued from that dog, he was taken home to a nice ladies house but she didn't know anything about rabbits and fed him All the WRONG things. When I got Chewie he was not neutered and sprayed everything, he also lived outside in the 100* temps. I got him neutered w/in three months and was brought inside to be an indoor rabbit. Chewie is SO smart. He still loves to dance around my feet and kick up his heels in his yard. He loves to dig the dirt and eat grass roots. He is very friendly and I refer to him as my ambassador rabbit..anyone who comes into the house, he must investigate and decide if he likes them.

Belle is a rescued show Dutch, she is called a Blue Dutch and has the name Marge tattooed in her ear. Belle was a winning show Dutch but she was turned into a breeding doe, but did not produce enough kits and was then sold at auction after a show, a man bought her and some other Dutch rabbits and took them to East Valley Bunny Rescue in Mesa, AZ. I adopted Belle in January and three weeks later she decided she was in love with Chewie. So after their first date she escaped two pens and jump another fence to be with him. They were bonded by the 3rd date. ;-) She adores her Chewie and he adores his Belle.
